Decking has come in for a bit of a hard time of late but we still rate decking just as long as it is fit for purpose, well designed, and properly constructed. We avoid exotic hardwoods on environmental grounds but will happily use European timber including Oak, pine or western red cedar, would consider experimenting with chestnut!
We often mix decking in with other materials and planting as a way of avoiding large expanses of open deck which can look rather boring. We can build in features such as timber seating and planters as well as arbors and trellis. We have also become pretty handy with sleepers, especially when it comes to making low curved retaining walls and steps. We usually use aged reclaimed sleepers but are happy using new sleepers if the customer can afford them!
We have tooled up for building all manner of fencing, whether it be bog standard panel fencing, trellis, or the more fancy and substantial feather board fencing. We can also hang gates and such like.
